Crafting round up

May 12, 2016

Sadly we’ve had to postpone our Natural Dye Workshop for the time being, so instead of that here’s what guild members have been working on over the last few weeks:

Nicky has been very busy with the results of her dyeing experiments, using Dylon and commercial yarn – amazing results:

The weavers have been working too, the tartan is Hilary’s first ever weaving project (whereas it’s taken Helen five years of weaving to finally produce a wearable scarf)!

And there has been a braiding outbreak! Madeleine has got to grips with Kumihimo after the Four Corners workshop and is using her braids for useful things like attaching the orifice hook to her wheel, whilst Lynda is using a lucet to make bracelets:

And finally some spinning (because we still do that too!):

Next week it’s our AGM. In the hope of a strong turnout there will be Cake. Lots. Promise.
