Fibre-East 2015 – Part 2 – What we saw…

So the first thing we saw at Fibre East was bunting, so pleased to see some of mine had made it through to 2015! Then through to the competition entries where all manner of spinning, weaving, knitting and crochet was on display:

This wonderful sheep blanket by the British Coloured Sheep Breeders Association was much admired, possibly added some inspiration for an upcoming Guild project!

Just a few highlights of the weekend. 358 days to go until Fibre-East 2016 – the countdown has already begun!

In the meantime the Guild will be at the Ashwell Show on Bank Holiday Monday – 31st August, demonstrating spinning in the craft tent. We’re hoping for better weather than last year!
